Goal $2,000.00

Dear Friend,

I will be joining with others Georgians to walk in the Coweta County Suicide Awareness & Prevention Walk on September 23, 2017.   We will bring together the friends and families of those we love and lost, while bringing the issue of suicide, depression and mental illness out of the whispers and into the light.

We will be walking to raise funds for community education, awareness and activities to support survivors in Georgia through SPAN-GA, Suicide Prevention Action Network, Georgia.  SPAN-GA is a 501C(3) organization created in 2003 to reduce completed and attempted suicide in Georgia. Its focus is on supporting survivors, creating public awareness, education and building political will to provide resources to implement the Georgia State Suicide Prevention Plan.

Every 12.3 seconds someone completes suicide, and every 30 seconds someone attempts.  With over 44,000 lives lost each year in the nation each year, our work has never been more critical!

I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event. Any contribution will help to move forward suicide prevention and aftercare in Georgia, and all donations are 100% tax deductible.

Please help me to meet my personal goal; any support that you give me for this worthwhile cause is appreciated. Donating online is safe and easy! Every donation counts and together we can make a difference to those in need.

Thank you for supporting the cause and helping to save lives in Georgia!
